Leeds Festival headliners leaked?
eFestivals have made a post on their site this evening with what they claim to be the 2010 headliners for the Leeds and Reading festivals.
One of our favourite festival websites – e-Festivals – has tonight posted the three bands that they believe will headline at Leeds Fest 2010.
eFestivals suggest the headliners will be Arcade Fire and Blink 182.
eFestivals have also gone for the third headliner being My Chemical Romance, but they seem to be a little less confident on MCR as they are for the other two. Given their doubt maybe we’ll see MCR as a main support (to Green Day maybe)?
Their article comes with the usual caveats and “it’s not 100% confirmed” type warnings, but they’re not usually far wrong. Even if they got 2 out of 3 correct, that would be good going.

The official Leeds line up announcement is expected later this month along with the availability of Leeds tickets.

Send these douche bands like Kings Of Leon and Arcade Fire to Glastonbury where they belong…. Oh wait…. they are probably such sell outs that they’ve booked slots at all festivals and are hogging stage space from the people who actually think about the music they write.

You me at six are appauling and are should be nowhere near top of the main stage! Disappointed that muse havent been touted, one of best live bands about if not the best! Guarenteed a vintage band will be somewhere near headlining, love to see a libertines reunion too! Cant see foo fighters ersonally with Grohl touring with TCV but we”ll have to wait and see….Monday eeeeeeeeeeeeeek XD

Jon your full of shit. im not a major fan of MCR but they have been around for quite a while and are one of the best selling bands in the world at the minute so get your facts right…
and as for the whole paramore thing, they are just good. not headliners yet but they should definatly be there.

Personally i would be more than happy to see green day or blink or anyone else they have lined up…at the end of the day its what you and the people your with make of it it. Whether you enjoy yourself shouldn’t solely rely on who your seeing, and if it does then you probably shouldn’t bother going. I think any band I don’t know or who i’m not already a fan of that i get to see is half the fun, a bit of discovery!
Like many other users have pointed out there is more going on then the three headliners on the main stage so your pretty much guarenteed on seeing someone you like/know.

Blink 182, regardless if you like them or not, are a massive band! I can’t believe people are questioning if they are big enough the headline. They have produced top selling music succesfully for almost 2 decades and SOLD OUT huge world wide tours playin in some of the biggest venues, especially in the UK, and completely selling out every time. Some people are clueless about music, an i’m guessing its the modern generation who I suppose would love to see a band like YM@six headlining, or paramore or MCR haha
when those bands have produced 5 succesfull albums come back and say that.

MCR for example, what differance does it make, its a 3 day festival with over 100 bands, im sure there is plenty of room for variety, no need to cast some aside just because YOU dont like them

MCR, are you kidding me! That would be dire and I would not be standing around to watch them. Blink and Greenday would be okay headliners with RHCP, the FOO’s or REM a possible third. Whoever said that Blink aren’t big enough are mad, at V this year the headliners are KOL and Kasabian! Leeds will be by far the better gig (as long as MCR ain’t there)

4 of my friends were at a YM@6 Gig last night in Leeds And they practically confirmed they are playing at Leeds fest!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
