Leeds Festival 2011 tickets go on sale on 3rd December
And this time it’s a public sale, so you can all buy tickets.
Earlier this week we revealed that Vodafone customers could buy tickets for Leeds Festival 2011 from December 1st. This is an exclusive offer open to Vodafone subscribers.
It has now been announced that the sale will be extended to everyone from Friday 3rd December.
If you buy your Leeds 2011 tickets on the 3rd December, they will be held at 2010 prices. That’s £180 for a weekend pass plus booking fees.
Not only are prices being frozen, but you’ll also save on the VAT hike in the New Year.
There will only be a limited number of tickets available – the general release sale will be in Spring 2011 as per normal, when ticket prices are expected to increase by around £10.
Leeds 2011 tickets go on sale at 9am and you can buy them from the official ticket agencies:
Tickets for Leeds Festival 2011 will also be available through Viagogo, an official partner of Festival Republic and the Reading and Leeds Festivals.
The sale will end on December 31st.
does anyone know how big the lockers are? and there will be tents for sale at the sight yeah? because I’ll be travelling to London before and have a full luggage and no space for any tent…. lol
By the way, I’ve created a page with direct links to the ticket agency pages.
True! And interesting. The press release sent out today just says “weekend” and someone told me that the access available to Vodafone customers from Wednesday didn’t include Early Entry. But yeah, I can see that Ticketmaster have a page for Early Entry with a sale date of tomorrow morning.
on ticket master they say there selling early birds too
According to the latest press release, it’s just Weekend passes. So I guess that means no Early Entry passes until the Spring.
Aye, Jimmy, I like the eFestivals site.
davelms thought u mite wanna check this out… nothing to do with tickets http://www.efestivals.co.uk/festivals/leeds/2011/lineup.shtml#
What are the lockers, how big etc??
Did you get that through the Vodafone site? Are they just selling Weekend passes?
Yes, you should be able to get an Early Entry pass separately. They may even be on sale this Friday.
I’ve just bought an ordinary ticket, no early bird. Can you buy the early bird ticket at a later date for the extra 15?
help anyone?!
Yes Jimmy, I believe so.
if you buy 4 tickets, will you be charged £7 booking fee for each ticket?
Tickets are typically distributed between a fortnight and 1 week prior to the event, so the answer is “August 2011″. However, last year tickets bought through See Tickets went out later than expected and were not received until the day before the festival.
When I buy my ticket, when will it arrive?
They have said that there will be another ticket release in the Spring as per usual. Tickets will be more expensive then though.
Are these the only tickets that will be on sale, or will there be more on sale next year before the actual festival?
Weekend pass with camping is £180 + booking fees (same as 2010).
I think the Early Entry tickets will be £15.
How much is it for camping, entry passes, and early bird tickets?
yes weekend tickets DO INCLUDE camping, always have done. but you are not forced to sleep on site, you can come and go as you like, as long as you have your wristband on
Weekend passes include camping, yes.
Will this include camping tickets?
Not usually in a pre-sale, but this is a first time that Festival Republic have sold Leeds tickets in December. I’d guess “no”, but we’ll have to see what happens.
My bet is that it’ll just be Weekend passes and Early Bird passes on 3rd December – with the Day tickets, the Campervan tickets and the Coach packages all being left until the Spring launch. I could be wrong, that’s just a guess.
will campervan tickets be available ?
It’s usually limited to 4 pp. I haven’t heard anything different for this sale.
How many tickets per person??
You can buy a weekend pass and travel each day from home – you are not forced to camp.
You can also buy individual day tickets – although I doubt these will be on sale on 3rd December. I would expect these to go on sale in the Spring once the line up is announced.
Do all the tickets include camping, or are there day tickets for people who want to sleep in a real bed and travel in each day!?
The press release wasn’t explicit as to the type of tickets. But if previous pre-sales are to go by, then I would suggest the tickets will be WEEKEND passes and EARLY BIRD / ENTRY passes. So “yes” but that’s only a guess.
early bird aswell?
