Headliners announced for Lock Up Stage at Leeds 2011
Organiser have today announced The Mighty Mighty Bosstones and Descendents as headliners.
Festival Republic have today announced the line up for the Lock Up Stage at Leeds Festival 2001.
Headliners at Leeds will be DESCENDENTS (Friday) and THE MIGHTY MIGHTY BOSSTONES (Sunday) – Saturday at Leeds is the Dance Stage, which was announced last month.
Mike Davies, presenter of The Punk Rock Show on Radio 1 and curator of the Lock Up Stage said:
“2011 is the year that Punk Rock broke out… again. There are so many great groups around and I truly believe that we have managed to get 24 of the best bands possible to play on the Lock Up Stage. It’s guaranteed to be the best weekend of the summer.”
Supporting on the Friday will be: FLOGGING MOLLY – FACE TO FACE – HOT WATER MUSIC – BEDOUIN SOUNDCLASH – OFF! – THE BLACK PACIFIC – THE MENZINGERS – YOUR DEMISE – SPY CATCHER – MOUTHWASH.
The stage will also see the following bands on the Sunday: KING BLUES – THE BRONX – CAPDOWN – LEFTOVER CRACK – COMEBACK KID – BOYSETSFIRE – STREET DOGS – TEENAGE BOTTLEROCKET – TITLE FIGHT – SHARKS.
Many more names are still to be announced as well as the remaining line-up for the Festival Republic Stage and the full line up for BBC Introducing Stage.
Leeds Festival Tickets are still on sale. You can buy day tickets or full weekend tickets, which include camping.
