Leeds 2010 weekend tickets have sold out

Allocations at both Ticketmaster and See Tickets have now sold out.

Within the last hour both of the major Leeds Festival ticket agencies, Ticketmaster and See Tickets, have put up the “Sold Out” signs against weekend tickets.

We’ve been monitoring See Tickets and they were still actively selling Leeds Festival weekend tickets until around 10pm this evening. The official sell out in just over 27 hours is quicker than usual, especially when compared to recent years, and proves that the headline trio were an attractive draw for Leeds festival music fans.

If you didn’t get a ticket then don’t worry as options for music fans are not yet over. Coach Packages from most cities in the North of the UK remain on sale at See Tickets and these packages are often a good option – they provide door-to-gate transport and include a full weekend ticket pass.

If you’re after a normal weekend ticket then it would appear you have two options remaining:

  • keep trying See Tickets and Ticketmaster while they handle returns;
  • try the official fan-to-fan ticket resale partner Viagogo.

We posted earlier today about the ongoing ticket partnership that the Reading and Leeds Festivals have with Viagogo in a combined effort to weed out the ticket touts.

Viagogo are recommended by Festival Republic on the official site because they offer a safe way for fans to exchange tickets and they offer a guarantee that purchasers will get a ticket.

If you’ve been unlucky with the phone lines and online sites, then give Viagogo a go (go).

Day Tickets remain on sale and have not yet sold out.

Thanks Dave. They hadn’t taken any money from bank so I cancelled my card. Got txts from HMV this morning (See had some returned but had just sold out), so HMV seem best bet…

Hi Martin – no, that site is not an official ticket seller. It is registered to a PO Box in Vancouver. You should only buy from approved ticket agencies. If you can I would recommend that you contact your card company to charge back the purchase.

We have been running all the official links from our site for a number of weeks now (which we keep up to date) and it seems from a few comments on here that See Tickets have some availability left (although I have not checked again today).

I bought 2 tickets yesterday from www . leeds-festival . net but have had no email confirmation. Does anyone know if they are an ok site to buy from?

  7. Suze says:

booking fees and postage martin. should have read it when buying. and should be on confirmation email also.

  8. davelms says:

Hi Martin – £180 is the ticket price. On top of that you will have paid for the booking fees (per ticket) and postage (per order). The full amount to be paid will have been shown to you as part of your order when you made your card payment.

  9. davelms says:

Yes, I agree. It seems like they have some weekend tickets on sale again.

  10. kkk says:

I posted earlier saying how good Crash records is, and i neglected to mention that Jumbo Records is also excellent. Please support these fine establishments so they can continue and prosper in the future.

  13. martin says:

  14. davelms says:

  15. Stef says:

bought a weekend ticket on the see website yesterday afternoon…
so, is it sold out or not? bit nervy here as well! anyone knows??

  16. davelms says:

To scrambledmegg – yes, Jumbo Records are an official ticket agent. You are fine with them!

To Ollie – thanks, I guess they are having a drip feed of returns and double card payments going through right now.

  17. Teee says:

Don’t think there is ya know, there used to be the Orange mobile tent years ago but the queues were always massive!

A lot of stalls charge a tenner for a charged battery, swapping new for old.

Perhaps thats the way to go if you cant find owt else.

Personally, i take a charged spare. New batteries are fairly cheap from Amazon, etc.

  18. Suze says:

ok this has nothing to do with the post title but i was wondering bout something.

I havnt been to leeds fest since 2004 so its been a while and i was wondering if there are facilities to charge mobile phones (other than the lockers).

Like stalls where it can be done or summats?

Like i said bin a while since i have been and they may have a lot of new things and changed things since i was there.

  19. scrambledmegg says:

I got my weekend tickets yesterday from jumborecords.co.uk, are they legit?
Keep getting mixed messages about whether its sold out or not.
I am a first time buyer so a little nervy here :s

  20. Ollie says:

I bought 2010 Leeds weekend tickets last night from HMV.com

Looks like I could do the same again today if I wanted to.

You can still ‘order’ tickets on the See website too.
