No booking fees at Leeds Visitor Centre
Save £7 per ticket booking fee by buying in person from the Leeds Visitor Centre.
The Leeds Visitor Centre is located in The Arcade, Leeds City Station and in 2009 they sold weekend camping tickets at face value.
The same deal is available again for Leeds 2010. So if you want to save yourself a booking fee of around £7 per ticket, get yourself down to the Visitor Centre from 9am on Tuesday 30th March.
The “no booking fee” deal only applies to over-the-counter cash payments and you can buy 2 x Leeds weekend tickets per person.
Beware: if you try to pay by credit or debit card you will be charged a £3 booking fee.
For those of you wanting to buy online, the standard £7 booking fee will apply. You can get a list of official Leeds ticket links from our site.
Hi – I’m the Manager of Leeds Visitor Centre – we will open from 9am on Tuesday 22nd March 2011. We have been selling tickets for Leeds Festival for over 10 years, and will be doing so once again this year. We sell tickets at face value with only a £3 admin fee for purchases made by credit/debit card – cash transactions have no fee. We have a large allocation of tickets once again this year, and everyone who queued up last year got what they required. So avoid the frustration and fees from booking on-line and join the queue in city station and we will be happy to serve you!
Cheers
John
Hi,
I work for Leeds Visitors Centre and can say that this option has been very popular for a number of years now. Especially with not charging a £7 booking fee (please note that there is a £3 charge if you pay by card however). We sell both day and weekend tickets and have previously never sold out. I must however urge you to arrive early to avoid disapointment.

Yeah, i wonder how many people go for this option and what time you have to get there to make sure you get one.. and how many do they have??
It’s catch 20/20 isn’t it. They don’t start selling until 9am on Tuesday. By which time most of the online tickets will likely have gone.
I’d like to do this, obviously to save some money etc, but does anyone have any experience of doing this, what’s it like for queueing etc? I don’t want to risk not getting a ticket.
