Tickets to go on sale on March 30th

It’s very rare my guesses are ever right, but organisers today confirmed my January post when they announced that Leeds Festival 2009 tickets would go on sale on Monday 30th March.

Their statement suggests tickets will be available from 7pm - however, my recommendation to everyone is to start looking on-line from 6.45pm.

You’ll hopefully also remember our earlier post about how to avoid the ticket touts.

Make sure you’ve bookmarked the approved ticket agencies before the 30th March!

Our recommendation would be to try See Tickets and Ticketmaster first as these usually have large allocations (but as a result are often very busy sites!).

The prices haven’t been revealed yet, but they were £155 for a weekend ticket last year and have gone up by a tenner each year, so I would expect this year the tickets to be priced around the £165 mark.
