  2. james says:

nofx, bad religion, sick of it, civet and weezer….cant wait, just needto get through the fest without breaking me damn phone….cant believe though that the king ‘sell out’ blues are gonna be playing main stage – i remember watching them in squats in london when they were good

  3. Chloe D says:

Ahhh Saturday’s NME stage looks amazing! I miht just buy tickets for paramore when they come up newcastle locally and stay at the nme stage all day. KLAXONS! WILD BEASTS!!!!

  4. Mcfadyen says:

Does anyone know who’s likely to be in the comedy tent?

  5. To Franko says:

idk if you were there last year, but Arctic Monkeys were utter shite, me along with dozens around me on the Main Stage were really dissapointed, Alex Turner looked spaced out the whole time, it basically reflected their new album. Dissapointing and too mellow. No Mardy Bum and Teddy Picker to name just two left out of their set was a joke. If i wanted to listen to depressing music i would have listened to radiohead the next day (no offence, they are brilliant. just a little depressing at times!)

as for 3Oh!3, last year in the Dance Tent, there was maybe 20 rows of people OUTSIDE the tent trying to get in, and damn were they amazing. absolutely nailed it live. when dont trust me came on, ahh, it was just unreal. i hope you’re there this year so they can sway your mind when it comes to their performance live :)

  6. Joshua Mega says:

Line-up looks great. Can’t wait for Guns ‘N Roses!! Obviously it would be way better if it was the original band members… But simply for Axl, and hearing them play all the classics, I reckon it’ll be amazing. I’m hoping they wont dissapoint Libertiiiiines, that should also be fucking epic. Also really looking forward to Biffy Clyro, The Cribs, The Maccabees, Foals, Klaxons, We are Scientists, Mystery Jets, Dizzee Rascal, Mumford and Sons… Ahhh it should be amazing!Still not sure if the line-up was better last year though?
    +1

  7. Max says:

wheres blackout crew (only jking) franko should shut up aswell. Dizzy Rascal is gonna be amazing.!!!

  8. matt says:

    omg i cant wait !!!

Libertines, Blink-182, GNR, Qotsa, Pendulum n more great bands !!!

id live to see Avenged sevenfold, The Killers, Daft Punk, and Muse there :P
(yes i know…i have a varied taste in music)

more than likely they wont be there but ive heard rumors Daft Punk could be on dance arena :P i cant wait

  9. emily says:

gotta say at first i wasn’t overjoyed by the line up, but now i cannot wait. Friday is going to be so good:D

The Cribs, The Maccabees, Modest Mouse, Dizzee and Libs!

Sundays NME tent, and QOTSA and Biffy Clyro, oh my. give me it now please.

  10. sam d says:

  11. Sam says:

    Bombay Bicycle Club

  12. abbyja211 says:

Franko please just shut up. Your idiocy knows no bounds.

  13. franko says:

balls! i forgot, passsion pit pleaaaaaaaaaaaaaaassssssssssssseeeeeeeeeee

  14. franko says:

i know they headlined last year but im still hoping for a bit of the arctics, after all they are the official best band ever! ever! and also mash in a biit of kasabian, some florence, hadouken, kate nash? 3oh!3 just to mix it up, although aparently, not so good live? but all the same, most people will be to hammered, also i need gorrillaz and MGMT to play, i feel like someone has broken a promise if they dont play…there are so many bands yet to be announced, but im guessing most of my list wont play :’( ahh well still time, also can you tell me if the leeds line up ‘officials’ look at this site to see what people want? cause that would make sense really, yeah?

  15. jack says:

i agree with the tegan and sara call, they should deffo get announced :)

  16. Curt says:

Needs a few good Dubstep and Drum and bass artists and it shall be smouldering line up.

  17. Jake says:

well must have got confused :) Sorry steph,

but he is in crooked vultures and theyre touring same time soo that still why foo fighters arent there.

if your coming from reading then youl have to expect a few more mad yorkshire ideas and traditions :)

the last night was fucking brutal x

  18. James says:

    *Deaf

  19. James says:

Dave Grohl was in QotSA during the Songs For the Death era of the band. He was the drummer for the tours and festival appearances at that time. He’s currently not part of the band now though, hasn’t been for a fea years now.

  20. kelsay says:

amazing line up now we need
    The blackout
    florence and the machine
    bring me the horizon
    we are the ocean
    kids in glass houses
    The kooks
    kate nash
    hadouken

and it would be perfect :’D

  21. shea says:

@lucy… not* fucking* bloc* pendulum* learn to spell and also bloc party are on hiatus, although kele is playing

  22. Ian says:

Been going since it was v97, and the line-ups for the last 5 years have been shit. Get some bands that can play and knock this American skater-rock shit on the head, these 15 year olds only like it cos they havnt seen anything decent live! Qotsa, arcadefire, cypress hill, 1 or 2 others and the rest is American vampire movie pop shit-rock! And sort the bloody dance tent out. 3 days of it is better because it mixes it up a bit. Also, please stop putting slow crap electro bands on in there, it’s suposed to be a DANCE tent. Have a look at t in the parks line up and you will get the idea!

  23. lucy says:

why is jamie t no there i fucking live he he was amazing last year need him again and block party
    but am excited about pendulim

  24. Carlos says:

great line up but what happened to Epic Fail and Green Day

  25. ;) says:

The lineup looks brilliant but for lords sake Dan le sac and Scroobius Pip, just book them they are genius.

  26. Naomi says:

Get Tegan & Sara! They’re playing Glasto, so why not Leeds?

  27. Steph says:

Sorry for the enormous comment :/…

  28. Steph says:

Line-up looks great. Can’t wait for Guns ‘N Roses!! Obviously it would be way better if it was the original band members… But simply for Axl, and hearing them play all the classics, I reckon it’ll be amazing. I’m hoping they wont dissapoint :-)
Libertiiiiines, that should also be fucking epic.
Also really looking forward to Biffy Clyro, The Cribs, The Maccabees, Foals, Klaxons, We are Scientists, Mystery Jets, Dizzee Rascal, Mumford and Sons… Ahhh it should be amazing!
Still not sure if the line-up was better last year though?

Jake – Dave Grohl isn’t in QOTSA!! He played in one song I think, but isn’t in the band.
And Bloc Party wont play cos Kele – the main singer of Bloc Party, is making solo stuff, and he’s playing. Plus they’ve played the last like 3 or 4 years, would be a bit of a joke if they played again.
And erm, for all of you questioning whether Leeds or Download is better… Reading/Leeds wins HANDS DOWN,
Went to Reading last year so looking forward to trying out Leeds this year!
    Bring it onnn. x

  29. Robert says:

I very much agree with Danell

  30. Jake says:

foo Fighters arent playing cos dave grohl is in queens of stone age you nugget :p

why is foo fighters not there”’ why is it they just go were the money is ,,,fxxxing tossers realy thought they would do leeds ,,,BLINK 182 wat a load off shitt

  32. Danell says:

Just get Battles, Aucan and A place to bury strangers and it will be perfect. (BATTLES!!!)

  33. Alfie Moon says:

Fake Blood and Herve for the dance stage!! might just tilt me towards getting a weekend ticket, instead of just the friday.

  34. Beth says:

Please get Jamie T at Leeds, or Bloc Party or John Mayer! Please, please, please. :)

  35. Ryan G says:

  43. Billy_loves_Blink says:

V fest is indie and mainstream, download is metal and Leeds is the middle ground.
What more can you ask for?!

  44. hi says:

Line up looks poo compared to last year !

  45. davelms says:

Hi Leon – they haven’t been officially announced yet. But there are over 100 more bands to be revealed yet so there’s every chance.

The Sunshine Underground are playing the Live At Leeds festival though on May 1st. Read: The Sunshine Underground added to Live At Leeds 2010 line up.

  46. Leon says:

    are the sunshine underground here????

  47. Jade says:

id rather download. leeds festival is good its got a good line up this year but half of those bands will play dowload too. guns’n'roses haha thats a joke its not the band everyone loved anymore they might aswell change the name. leeds you’ve got a good line up for once but ill stick to download thanks

    AVENGED SEVENFOLD”

Foo Fighters….Metal??!??!??!?!?? You have no life.

Wish I had tickets to this, would LOVE to see Queens Of The Stone Age! Would also like to see Guns N’ Roses (just to see what they are like now all the best members have left, leaving ginger twat and his crew of wannabes)

  50. Sean alexander says:

here here, I’d go to Download for Aerosmith, Bar that band for band Leeds kicks the shite of Download, still think Arcade Fire is a wierd one for a headlinin spot but they do put on one hellova show, Think the Gorillaz woulda much better. Every year we get 9 or 10 bands on the main stage, meaning we have more to look forward to aswell as the Lockup which just gets better every fukn year.
Thank u Leeds for bringing us the Alt Rock festival that we haven’t seen as often in recent years
