Confirmed:The Killers, on the new official leeds festival website
http://www.leedsfestival.com/home/
PS… oh, and also, PENDULUM!!!!! who announced it in a blog on their MySpace!!
To Lucy;
Yeah, that’s the same one i’ve got. It could be a fake, but it is a fake made on very reliable sources….BECAUSE…..
The guy that manages our band also works with the press at Leeds Fest, and they’re in a Conference at Leeds Cockpit, which is the first place the lineup is officially announced (to the press), wheras it’s released to the general public later tonight, an hour before tickets go on sale
So far, he’s confirmed to me that the headliners ARE METALLICA, THE KILLERS and RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE
Also playing, should be Bloc Party, Paramore, Less Than Jake, New Found Glory, Manic Street Preachers, Slipknot, and Queens Of The Stone Age
I’m so bloody happy with that line up so far!!!!!
get yerself download,
only reason to go leeds is if rage are playing!
sall a pile of new rave gay full of kids that think their in an episode of Skins
I have a leaflet thing with the line up on!
It says Rage Against The Machine, Killers and Metallica are the main line up.
And others playing are The Automatic, Enter Shikari, Hadouken! Duffy. The Wombats and plenty more.
Just cant rememeber
seemed a pretty good line up , hope its true.
When does the actual line up be announced
haha i did that for my g/f
id only been with er a month
and went and got her reading tickets
luckily the credit card thing happened and i got away with it lol
took me about 27 mins get them last year and the year before less than a minute
so fingers crossed
yeh err Ram Jam are Definatly playing AND! Reel 2 Real haahha, basicly if hot chip arent there il chop my dick off
Last year, i managed to get three tickets…..then i checked back about 30 mins later to see if tickets sold out, and realised i’d bought 3 READING festival tickets and STILLLL managed to buy three Leeds fest tickets!!!
The moral of the story is, if you don’t manage to get onto the tickets website in time, you need better internet!!!
if i dont get tickets
im ending my life
i think it gets announced the same day as the tickets go onsle
AVENGED FUCKING SEVENFOLD!!!!
now tht i would wanna see
if a7x played nd rage against the machine
OH GOD
i’d be in heaven
coz last year im sure dats wen it was announced, on radio1 zane lowe show
Why is everyone wanting bands back that played last year?
Metallica would be epic but they seem to be a bit out of place with the whole indie-pop lark that goes on at Leeds..
Chillis were wank last year so the headliners this year had better make up for it..
Oh and if Pendulum&Prodigy don’t go, I will be most gutted.
Chemical Brothers
)
Daft Punk
Aphex Twin
Does It Offend You, Yeah? (I don’t care if they were there last year
Justice *creams*
Oh and Boards of Canada should do a nighttime set on the Saturday, that would be so fucking chill…
Pendulum have self confirmed,
RAVE ON
I don’t see how anyone hasn’t mentioned stone sour yet! their new album is amazing! Not to mention that they have an awesome live performance! But I think that there should be a remake of one of the all time great Leeds/Reading festivals. That of 2002! I mean yeah there were a few poor bands playing. But there were some all time great bands there! Many of which were still relitively unknown at the time. Amen, Dillinger, Slipknot, Offspring, Alec empire, Prodigy, GNR, Incubus etc. None of that 50 Cent or Rasmum bollocks! Pure straight rock music!
MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAADDDIIINNAAAA LAAAAKKKEEE (;
@titdlersarmy : Where did you read or hear that?
isnt da line up getin announced on fri nyt on radio1
btw, if muse are deffo playing, where on the bill would they be, seeing as all of the headliners are american, and muse are a headlining band?!
line up is announced on the 31st, same day as the tickets go onsale
3 headliners
Elvis
The Beatles#
Nirvana
For sure
x
anyone see any chance of Kings Of Leon?
anyone know what day the line up will be released?
AMEN
stay tuned…www.officialcaseychaos.com and http://www.myspace.com/refuseamen
______SPREAD THE CHAOS!!_______
better not be fucking shitty new rave bastards
Its gotta be Slipknot theyd get the place bouncing…..and besides Download already have 3 headliners, and Slipknot are too big for a mid-card slot.
how do people know these bands for certain?! id say just wait until the line up date to really see.
I’ve heard rumours of a £160 ticket charge without booking fee’s, is this just bullshit? or have they increased the price stupidly?
Best not be shitty Metallica headlining.
I wants REM!!
Yeahh, that’s right
Metallica, The Killers, Rage Against The Machine
I mean, REALLY don’t take my word for it, as it could always be fake, but i have recieved the exact same lineup from two completely different people, both with connections to the festival organisers
Enter shikari are on the friday in leeds, fourth from the last band on the main stage.
Foo fighters aren’t on the lineup i have, but maybe they could do it secretly like they were going to last year, but they didn’t because of Dave’s throat or something like that?
I’m pretty happy, cos taking back sunday and less than jake are playing!
just remember, this is just my word for it, and it could be fake, but that’s what i’ve heard!
anything else anyone wants to ask?
