Not a band name joke – “Free Beer” will definitely make an appearance at Leeds Festival 2012.

As announced earlier this year, all Leeds Festival 2012 weekend ticket holders will be entitled to a free breakfast bap and beer or soft drink on each of the three days.

Free Food

Vouchers for the food will be sent out with the tickets, which festival goers can present to vendors at specially created ‘Food for Campers’ locations in the campsite until midday on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. One food voucher will be valid for each day.

The offer applies to a bacon, sausage or a scrambled egg & mushroom bap and the breakfast bap will be available between 7am and 12 noon.

Free Beer

Beer (proof of age will be required) or soft drinks can be collected once through wristband exchange.

As you walk out of wristband exchange for the first time a team of festival volunteers will be waiting to give every weekend wristband holder a bag with three cans of beer or soft drinks, one for each of the music days.

Recycling Offer

The drinks bag is a recycling bag, which you can fill with empty cans … to get even more free beer!
