.. and it’s the three we expected!

Exactly as we rumoured via this post on our site back on the 4th February, the headliners for Leeds Festival were announced tonight as FOO FIGHTERS (Friday), THE CURE (Saturday) and KASABIAN (Sunday).

The announcement was made live on air on BBC Radio One.

The greatest rock band in the world right now, and masters of whipping crowds into a frenzy, FOO FIGHTERS kick off proceedings in Leeds on Friday, playing their only UK show this year.

THE CURE have an unrivalled catalogue of both commercially and critically acclaimed hits and this is a long awaited return for this hugely influential and important band. They play Leeds on Saturday, again their only UK show this year.

The biggest and most exciting UK band to have emerged in the last decade, KASABIAN make their first headline appearance at the Leeds Festival on Sunday.
