What are the Leeds Festival 2012 dates?

To begin our short series of Q&A for Leeds 2012, we’ve picked on a common question posed by many of our visitors: when exactly is the Leeds Festival?

The answer is that Leeds Festival always falls over the August Bank Holiday weekend with three full days of music on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Leeds 2012 Dates

This year the Leeds Fest dates are:

• Friday 24th August 2012
• Saturday 25th August 2012
• Sunday 26th August 2012

Each year the Main Arena is opened on the Thursday evening for a special event hosted by Leeds label Dance To The Radio. It usually features four or five up-and-coming bands from the Yorkshire region and beyond.

You will be able to gain access to the campsites from Thursday 23rd August and will be expected to leave the campsites on Monday 27th August. If you have purchased an Early Entry pass (aka Early Bird) you will be able to get into the festival campsite from Wednesday 22nd August.

Holders of Day Tickets will only be able to attend the festival on their chosen date.
