Applications to steward with Oxfam in 2011 are now open.

Oxfam have 130 vacancies for volunteers to work at Leeds Festival this year and applications to steward are now open.

Each summer Oxfam provides a professional stewarding service to some of the UK’s biggest music festivals, including the Reading and Leeds Festivals. In return, they receive a donation from the festival organisers.

Last year, Oxfam provided 5,000 stewards to 14 major festivals and raised £1 million.

At Leeds, Oxfam stewards will staff the entrance gates, the arena entrance, wristband exchange, the arena, tented venues, and accessible platforms.
