Ticket prices confirmed for Leeds 2010
With the official Leeds line up just a week away, festival organisers have today confirmed the price of tickets for Leeds 2010.
At the turn of the year we wrote an article titled: how much are Leeds Festival 2010 tickets?
We guessed that prices would be £180 for weekend tickets (ticket price includes camping). And £75 for day tickets, which do not include camping. Guess what? Festival Republic have today confirmed our post via their official Reading and Leeds twitter account.
RandL twitter: “ticket prices for this year will be £180 w/e £75 day ticket £10 early bird”
Make sure you only buy your Leeds Festival tickets from official ticket outlets. We recommend Ticketmaster and See Tickets but we list many of the official agencies on our tickets page.
Tickets go on sale at 645pm on Monday 29th March. The line up is also announced next week.
I think it’s ridiculous you have to pay £7 booking fee per ticket!! Don’t they think it’s expensive as it is, also do you have to pay for delivery for EACH ticket cos that’s just takin piss if you do when there comin to same address????
An ordinary ticket gets you into the camp site from Thursday 26th.
An Early Bird ticket gets you into the camp site from 2pm on Wednesday 25th.
With the ordinary £180 weekend ticketts, what day exactly can we get onto the campsitee? Can you get on, on the 26th or do you have to wait untill the 27th?
Thankks
The official site went live with:
“Weekend tickets include camping and cost £175.
Day tickets do not include camping and cost £70.”
But we pointed it out to them and they’ve now fixed it. Yay, go us
Hi Howard – it’s 4 if you buy online, 2 if you buy in person.
Hi Deano – yeah, there will be a booking fee applied by all the main ticket agencies, including Crash. However, Leeds Visitor Centre had no booking fees last year so that would be a good option if you want to try and save some money.
how many tickets can you buy at a time? because last year i remember it being four but i’ve heard its only two this year, and i’m looking to buy them as a group
if i’m buying my ticket from crash records is there any extra charges on top of the £180?
lol at Louise’s joke…
… but in case it wasn’t a joke, they give access to the site a day earlier than everyone else.
Early Bird tweet from the organisers was incorrect.
They’ve put “early entry is £15 not £10.. apologies everyone” today.
What the hell are early bird tickets and why are they so cheep ?
Will HMV be selling any tickets this Year or will they only be sold online?
People are being a little retarded over this, but I’ve been going for the past 4 years, so I’ll try and break it down:
£180 is your physical weekender camping ticket…
The ticket vendors will charge you probably 2/3 extra charges on those tickets.
£7 admin/processing/booking fee and a £5 delivery fee (Per Ticket)
So that’s going to be £193 per ticket (For the weekenders) and £87 for day tickets.
I’ve also been told parking will be about £4.50 per car this year. So add that on if you want to park. (£10 on the doors)
What’s the maximum number of tickets you can buy? I’l be needing to buy 3 for me and two friends? Also how much is the booking fee usually? And how soon before the release is the line up usually revealed?
There is no physical U12s ticket. Just turn up at the main gates. So long as they are accompanied by an adult ticket holder, they get through fine (that’s from personal experience).
Cheers for the feedback Dave. Anyone else with any advice. TBH I’d like to take all of my kids and have a family event but if it is not advisable or catered for in any way then I’d obviously rather not.
Also, does anyone know from previous experience how you get the ticket for the 12 and under.
You’ll obviously know better than us how your 4 year old will cope, but I personally wouldn’t have taken my youngest daughter at aged 4 (and I didn’t). Others will all be fine, I’d say. But in any case, I would recommend you head for the Family Camping Area, which is near the Campervans.
what time do the tickets go on sale on monday?
Need a bit of help people. Gonna be taking the wife and 2 eldest daughters (14 & 12). As 12 year old is free I make that £540 for the whole weekend and camping. Am I right?
Also, we have 3 other kids (8, 7 & 4). We have a big tent so would anyway see a problem in us all going or would it be better to leave the little uns at their nans?
BTW, the wife doesn’t drink and is very responsible.
cushty
thaaaanks
Also, does it not matter if u buy an early bird later on? U dont just have to buy it with the ticket
Early Bird tickets are £10, same price as in all previous years.
do u have to pay for delivery when you order the ticket? If so roughly how much?
Booking fee is usual £7.
how much is the booking fee?
Anyone know how much early bird tickets are? and how they are avaliable?
Hey, im buying tickets for my mates i need 4 tickets and using one car will that be ok?
what is the max tickets you can buy?
hey there! been to leedsm fest for the last few years, cannot seem to find info for when tickets go on sale at the hmv stores….is it tuesday morning or the evening like last year? please help im getting anxious and don’t want to line the touts pockets if i can’t get a ticket!
So do they not announce the line-up before the tickets go on sale?
OMG If your gonna leave comments then read previous comments first so everything isnt getting repeated!!
How long do tickets take to sell out?
Just glad I got mine last year!
Usually it’s 4-6 Chloe. The pre-sale was reduced to 2 per person per card though, so we’ll have to wait and see.
how many ticket is one person allowed to buy?
If past years are anything to go by, tickets will be more difficult to source after around 5 or 6 hours and will sell out completely in around 48 hours.
Do the tickets usually get sold out in a few days or is enough time to earn the money?
how much are coach tickets?? does anyone know? xo
Hi Sean –
£180 is the price you pay if you want to go for the weekend. It includes access to the campsites for the weekend.
Two weekend tickets would therefore cost £180 x 2 = £360.
£75 is the day ticket price. It gives you access to attend for a single day, and does not include access to the campsites. It is targetted at people that just want to go watch Friday or Saturday or Sunday, but not all weekend.
Confused – is that £180 + £75 camping so for 2 people for the weekend its £435? Lol x
The organisers always announce the line up at around the same time as the tickets go on general sale (give or take a few minutes either way).
Radio One usually reveal the headliners over the course of drive time from about 5pm onwards, so tune in to the radio and you’ll likely hear the important bits just before tickets go on sale.
If it helps, the line up announcement to the press is taking place at 715pm. This is slightly later than usual, so I suspect they are wanting some exclusivity this year to run on their own site first.
no same time… although its said that the lineup might be announced 15 minutes before they go on same but not sure.
Ahh same as usual bring on the leeds
So the tickets go on sale before the line up?
Yep! HMV Harrogate! Can’t wait just to get hold of the tickets!
so £180 it is then
