Where can I buy Leeds tickets?
With the announcement now just weeks away, read on for our guide to where you can buy your Leeds 2010 ticket from official and reliable sources only.
Important: at the time of writing Leeds tickets are not on sale and any site claiming to be selling tickets is not doing so in an official capacity and you are best waiting for the official launch.
Tickets for Leeds 2010 will go on sale in the Spring, probably on 22nd or 29th March, and they should cost around the £180 mark for a weekend camping ticket – for more information read our previous advice on when do Leeds tickets go on sale? and how much are Leeds tickets?
Leeds Fest tickets should always be bought from a reliable and official source and festival fans are always advised to avoid unauthorised ticket agencies and touts. But the confusion that many face is identifying which source is reliable and which is not.
Where to buy Leeds tickets – online
Our recommendation to people looking to purchase on the internet is to visit either Ticketmaster or See Tickets who are official agencies for both Leeds and Reading Festivals.
You can also buy online through Gigantic , Ticketline and via the Leeds-based eTicket website Luna Tickets.
Of those we believe the best option is Ticketmaster as their servers usually survive the large increase in visitors much much better than the others (who last year had server problems caused by the load). You can buy from Ticketmaster here: Ticketmaster – Leeds 2010.
For the full set of online links visit our Leeds tickets page. We will keep this page up to date with direct links to save you from having to waste time navigating to the final “buy tickets” page.
To help you remember our tickets page we’ve set up a short url: bit.ly/leeds2010tickets
Where to buy Leeds tickets – in person
Leeds is blessed with two excellent music shops in the city centre, Crash Records (Headrow) and Jumbo Records (Merrion Centre) who are both official sellers for Weekend and Day tickets. You can also buy tickets from the HMV stores located in Leeds city centre and at White Rose.
Finally, last year the Leeds Visitor Centre at the City Station was also an official outlet and buyers benefited from there being no booking fees for festy tickets bought there.
Where to buy Leeds tickets – by phone
Festival Republic have a ticket line at 0871 231 0821.
To close, here is a reminder that we do not sell festival tickets on our site. You need to follow one of the official options mentioned if you want to buy your tickets.
We bought two tickets for my daughter and her boyfriend for READING from HMV in Manchester in May. They arrived today and they are for LEEDS! Any suggestions? (apart from suing HMV)
I bought 4 tickets on seetickets on my credit card, and then i bought an additional 4 on the same website and card. I have had confirmation on both transactions. will they with draw my tickets as its a limit of 4 per household/card?? :’(
Lauren – HMV are usually official ticket agencies yes, and their Leeds store is the primary outlet for Leeds tickets. Best bet is to go in and ask.
Mike – the restrictions that get put in place apply across all agencies. However… Ticketmaster haven’t updated their site since the pre-sale that run last September 2009 (check the price and date, both wrong). There was a 2-ticket restriction put on towards the end of the pre-sale. When they get round to update their site, expect their terms to indicate you can buy more (probably 4, maybe 6).
I am looking to purchase 3 tickets for this year’s leeds festival for me and two mates, ticketmaster has a limit of 2 per credit card/household, Does anyone know a site with a bigger limit?
last year my friends got there tickets from hmv in leeds.. is that still possible this year? or can you just buy online?
ive never been to leeds fest, this year is my first! i cannot wait, lots of cider and amazing music cant ask for much more! where is the best to buy my ticket im not to fused about early bird, but id love a bargain!
Hi Jade, it’ll be in that kind of region yes.

Hey
Can you let me know what the early bird camping ticket is?
This is my first time this year and does anyone know how many tickets you can buy with one credit card? Me and my friends were worried incase some of us got tickets and some of us didn’t.
Can’t you tell we’ve never done anything like this before!
where can i buy day tickets from and will they go on sale at the same time as weekend ones?
Of all the re-sellers (i.e. secondary market) the likes of Seatwave, Viagogo and Get Me In! are somewhat more “reliable” than most of the others. But you will still be paying far more than face value and there is always the risk that the tickets won’t materialise (although at least you’ll get your cash back if that happens – read their T&Cs).
Given tickets are not on sale yet – and therefore are not sold out – there is absolutely no reason to be approaching sites like Seatwave at this stage. I would recommend that you try the official primary ticket sellers first when the Leeds tickets are officially on sale in March – you’ll likely save money.
And only if the tickets sell out and you are not successful would it make sense to consider visiting Seatwave or Viagogo or Get Me In! But if you do, make sure you read their Terms & Conditions and pay using Visa (for added protection).
Hi guys, is seatwave a reliable place to buy tickets?
Hi Simone, it’s not been announced yet but you can read this link for “How much are Leeds tickets?”

can some1 please tell me how much 2010 leeds fest tickets r please??
XxX
Got my tickets last September and can’t wait.
Sun,(well a bit of rain is always good and expected) Beer and music.
Perfect.
Thanks Adam. I’m going to add the Ticketline link to the Leeds tickets page once it comes through on their data feeds.
I had Seetickets, ticketmaster and Ticketline all open last year and kept refreshing, Ticketline was the first I managed to get through on, bang on 7 o’ clock, and had no problems
One thing you can do with both is set up your account details in advance. A good time saver. My problem with See is the “busy” server messages, whereas TicketMaster has historically survived the increased load of festival ticket releases much better.
Seetickets all the way! I trust them the most and have always had a good experience with them!
I think I’ll probably go with seetickets. I’ve used them before and they’re really reliable, and they always keep you updated about your tickets which is the kind of reassurance I always need!
I do reccomend them to anyone
I am so bloody excited for leeds 2010, BRING IT ONNN!!! XD
