Festival organisers Festival Republic have today revealed additions to the Main Stage for Leeds Festival 2009.

The bands added to the line up are

Friday: The Rakes and Fightstar.

Sunday: New Found Glory, Alexisonfire, Madina Lake and Sonic Boom Six.

There were no additions to the Main Stage on the Saturday in today’s announcement, but keep checking back to catch the latest line up news.

In addition to the stages already announced, the festival will also host the Festival Republic Stage and the BBC Introducing Stage.

These two stages will once again host a potential future headliner, with Leeds bands The Pigeon Detectives and The Sunshine Underground making an appearance on the BBC Introducing Stage in previous years. The line up for these stages will be announced later.

The line up for the Dance Stage (to be hosted on the Saturday) will also be revealed later this summer.
