Saturday’s Main Stage Special Guests
Who would you like to see play the Main Stage on Saturday?
The current posters suggest there will be “Special Guests” on the Main Stage on the Saturday.
Over on our 2009 Line Up page, you’re speculating who it might be with Blink 182 and Green Day your current favourites.
In previous years, due to embargoes on announcements “Special Guests” have sometimes turned out to be bands playing at one of the other UK Festivals – so perhaps it’s a band listed on the line up for Download, V Festival or T In The Park.
So which band would you like to see and who do you think it might be?

well, with Alexisonfire playing Sunday at leeds, they’ll most probably be travelling from Reading as soon as they finish Friday night, leading me to believe there’s a possibility that Dallas would do a set? So City and Colour? I would be able to die happy if that was the case, so fingers crossed!
(ps why is everyone rooting for bands that just don’t fit in with the leeds agenda? Katy Perry? it’ll be lady gaga next!)

Personally i would LOVE to see Mcfly there as the special guests, there would really get the crowd going, and the mosh pits would be crazy! Please.. GET THEM BOOKED! But i cant see that happening as reading is full of Stupid metal fans, who do not have a clue when it comes down to music, they need to appreciate some DECENT music like Alphabeat..
No mark im not stupid, katy Perry would be absolutley amazing! she would definatley make my weekend.. dunno about you but i see her as one of the greatest pop acts of all time.

Lee and Jordan are you stupid? Why do you even go to reading suggesting bands like that, seriously if thats what you think you need to stay at home with mummy and daddy.
I dont like bands like kings of leon arctic monkeys and radiohead, we need some proper bands like the ting tings.
I would love a bit of Katy perry, seems unlikely at the moment but think she would go down well as she has some good sing a long tunes, i would enjoy it
