NME / Radio One Stage dates revealed
Acts were yesterday announced for the NME/ Radio 1 Stage, with The Gossip and Glasvegas set to co-headline Leeds on the Friday night.
The line-up for the second stage so far is:
Friday 28th August 2009
- The Gossip
- Glasvegas
Saturday 29th August 2009
- Gallows
Sunday 30th August 2009
- White Lies
Plus the following acts will be playing the stage throughout the weekend: AFI, Friendly Fires, Florence and the Machine, Jamie T and The Gaslight Anthem.
More names for the NME / Radio One Stage are set to be announced next week.
yeh prophets will be good, shall be staying clear of kings of leon and arctics I imagine. Kol are ok and have been huge last/this year so fair enought but uch arctics, why? headline? same slot as Metallica last year and chillis the year before?

really sorry to hea about blink if that is true about the organisers, i doubted it, but the confirmation is very disapointing.
Only band I cant wait to see is brand new because we were drunk and lazy in 2007.
im certain the lineup will become beastin.

there was a interveiw with reading and leeds fetival owners or festival republic about headliners and blink r now not playing gutted but apparently there is a welsh headliner a big one on the nme stage so is this lostprophets as they have said their playing but havnt been announce yet and are any of the other bands who r on the radio one/nme stagie bill welsh?
i still reckon blink will play i have a strong feeling any way going to be a sick weekend
