Bands have today been given even more opportunities to play on the BBC Introducing Stage. Get your application in now!

Closing date for entries is Tuesday 1st July – winners will be announced in the August edition of Sandman.
Hey hey, my lads Cut Glass Accent, fighting out of the frozen north (Newcastle) would love a little chance to play up at Leeds. We are regulars at the Newcaslte O2 Academy playing next with Hundred Reasons (April 2nd) We have also just signed a PR deal with 10X Better ahead of the single launch in May.

I am lucas jubb from beep! magazine, a pop culture magazine based in Bradford, West Yorkshire. We are a magazine commenting on social life, fasion, art and sepcialise in Music. We have featured and interview many amazing bands, we recently reviewed Little Boots [winner of BBC sound of 2009, itunes single of the week] Embrace [who have had three number one albums in the UK] The Kabeedies,Random Hand, Cats In Paris, Buen Chico, Operahouse and many many more.
i am writing on behalf of a Band called Minus Jack [myspace.com/minusjack] they are an indie pop guitar band from Bradford. They have being gigging on the scene now for nearly two years and have played with many bands in that time.
They supported Ash and St. Georges hall, Pete and teh pirates at the York barfly and has Anie Mac’s House Band on Radio 1.
