Organisers reveal first official ticket sale for Leeds 2013.

Leeds Festival 2013 tickets are to go on sale this month as organisers Festival Republic announce the date of the release of the first batch of tickets.

In an announcement this week, Festival Republic boss Melvin Benn said that he would probably be announcing one of the headliners for Leeds 2013 before Christmas. Although this would be a change from the norm, he confirmed that the bulk of the line up would still be announced next March.

Benn also promised a lot more diversity of music in the official Leeds Festival line up next year and “more dance music” as he looked to extend the site to include two or three more stages.

Tickets will be on sale via the official ticket agencies Ticketmaster and See Tickets.
