See Tickets apologise for late delivery of tickets
Leading ticket agency See Tickets has apologised for the late delivery of tickets for Leeds 2010.
The Yorkshire Evening Post (our favourite local newspaper, given yours truly once was once editor of the weekly music pull-out) has today published details of an apology from See Tickets who have left some fans frustrated at the late delivery of weekend tickets.
Of the problems, See Tickets said: “The vast majority have been delivered but we acknowledge there are still some tickets with Royal Mail on their way to you. We realise that a lot of customers have been left frustrated and angry at the late dispatch of these tickets and for this we unreservedly apologise.”
We hope everyone that reads our Leeds Music Festival site got their Leeds Festival tickets on time this year and were unaffected by these problems. Let us know in the comments below or on our Facebook group page if you experienced problems this year.
I bought my son the weekend and early entry ticket last year, the early entry arrived at 10.45 on the morning they were leaving but we still had to drive into the centre of Leeds to collect his friends ticket as he was told it wouldn’t be delivered and could be collected from a music store in Leeds.
No doubt Seeticket will be refunding the special delivery cost and the £4.90 parking + petrol.
I work for a very good handling house and if they would like us to despatch the tickets next year they only have to ask!!!!
my daughter bought tickets through “see tickets” months ago…we had to go and beg the postmen to dig them out the sorting office the day before she left for the festival. We rang “see tickets” to find out where and when the tickets had been sent (as my son ,who sensibly bought his via another agency,had his delivered at least a week earlier). “See Tickets ” could’nt care less response was to attempt to blame the Royal Mail !!! Did’nt blame themselves for not sending tickets out in good time. Would never ever buy anything through these people again…steer well clear : ((
