Leeds Tickets to go on sale on March 29th 2010
As we announced back in January the official launch for Leeds 2010 will take place on Monday 29th March.
In January we posted our guess for when the official Leeds Festival 2010 launch would take place.
We said it would likely be on Monday 29th March.
Festival organisers have tonight confirmed our post and have announced that the Tickets for Leeds Festival 2010 will go on sale on Monday 29th March at 6.45pm.
Normal practice is that the Leeds 2010 line up will be announced at the same time.
Make sure you only buy your ticket from official websites. Our Leeds tickets page has all the proper links to Ticketmaster, See Tickets and many more.
i didn’t know how many tickets you could get. My friend who went last year said it was four then but has now been reduced to two which is a nightmare for me aha

because if it was it would be amazing!!
Hi Em – the announcement was that tickets go on sale at 645pm (as they have done in previous years) not at 7.15pm.
Hi Matthew – it’s always been revealed at the same time as the tickets go on sale, subject to a few minutes difference either way. What you will find though is that if you listen to BBC Radio One from around 5pm you will hear some very big hints via their play list and comments. Radio One usually play tracks from the headliners in the “drive time” two hours in advance of the official announcement itself. So tune in and you’ll no doubt find out before Festival Republic make the proper announcement.
Hi Thea – the HMV store in Leeds city centre *may* open late on the Monday… your best bet is to go in and ask what their plans are. They’re not consistent and are hard to second guess what they will do; some years they open late and some years they have waited until Tuesday before they sold any tickets. Most other HMV stores will sell from Tuesday morning. So my recommendation is to go in and ask. If anyone has asked (or works at HMV in Leeds) and knows the answer please let us know.
What happens if I’m getting it from HMV.. what would be the times of sale & things for that?
If the tickets go on sale at 6:45pm, what sort of time are to expect the line up to be released, or is it the exact same time?
i’m thinking of having a ‘leeds fest tickets have gone on sale, lets all come round with phones and laptops and try to buy them’ party! Can you believe they charge £5 for postage???
hi:) just being told theyre on sale at 7.15 in the evening? how true is this.
Hi Josh:
1) Ticketmaster haven’t updated their page yet so that is still set to the pre-sale information from September. They’ve not yet updated their page for the main release.
2) If you click on the £182, it shows you that it’s made up of £175 plus £7 booking fee. Ticketmaster have recently moved to showing the total price on their site now.
Hope that helps.
Just been on the ticketmaster website. They say tickets are £182. i imagine there will b some kind of booking fee aswel but i dont kno tht for defo. Tickets are limited to 2 per credit card. hope that clarifies it
cheers for that Dave, gonna get all the numbers written down so we can phone each one continuously and log my details in ticketmaster so its quicker……fingers crossed
)
Hi Jackie, you will need 2 tickets yes. Why not try both methods? One of you use the phone, the other the internet. The other obviously stops trying when the other has bought tickets.
which is he best way to try and buy tickets, online or by phone??
There will be 2 of us camping in 1 tent for the weekend, do i ask for 2 wekend camping tickets??
Hi Sam – yes, usually tickets go on sale at the same time (give or take a couple of minutes). yes, day tickets are available too. yes, Ticketline are also a source. We have updated links on our tickets page to the official agents.
Hi Scott – not that I have heard as yet, but I’ll dig through my latest info and see if it’s been revealed yet. I have a few sources, and as soon as I have the info to hand I’ll post it.
Hi Hattie – tickets will be getting hard-to-find within a couple of hours.
There havnt announced the price any rumours?
do day tickets go on sale same time and wil they be selling them on ticketmaster or ticketline???
when is the line up announced surely its not exact same time tickets go on sale??????
the pre-sale tickets, i bought in Sept wer £182 each, +£7 booking fee, so i will guess they will be a little bit more than that, maybe £190 each…
thankyou for replying
dyu know how fast they sell out?? im a bit worried :S
hey guys you looked at the aparently leaked leeds poster?
it must be fake but would be a pretty good festival if true, all its missing is kings of leon and foo fighters for me… amd blur acctually
Good question Sarah – I think from memory they were listed separately on the See Tickets site. I cannot remember seeing them on Ticketmaster.
Maybe someone who has bought them previously will be able to offer better advice.
How do i a campervan ticket, will it be a seperate option on ticketmaster/see tickets?
Yeah, you remember correctly.
That post is here.
It was £175 plus booking fee last year.
My guess was that tickets would go up by between £5 and £10 this year to between £180 and £185 plus booking fee.
Some people have stated that they have heard that tickets will remain at last year’s price. So it’ll be somewhere around £175 + bf to £185 + bf. I’d be surprised if it was outside of this range.
ohhh yeah, good thinking thanks.
I did notice somewhere on here that it said they will probably be about £185 to £195 but not sure.
Yeah, it’s a re-seller site (i.e. avoid unless/until the tickets sell out and you’re stuck).
If you look at the face value prices in the paragraph near the top it says £175. Give them their due, at least they do put the face value price on their pages. A few re-seller sites don’t bother. The Early Entry ticket has got a 150% mark up though.
(ps – I’ve edit the link so that it’s not clickable, so people don’t end up there accidentally)
yeah its
www . totaltickets . co . uk / eventdetail . php ? eid = 964
not sure if its right just thought it was wierd, maybe a scam.
Hi Suze, where did you see £225 ? Do you have a link ?
i dont understand, ive noticed that leeds is £182 but reading is spose to be £225, whats that about?
Danny – they’ve gone on sale at 645pm for the last couple of years.
so do tickets on sale at 6:45 or 7pm?
Regarding time…. tickets for Leeds don’t usually sell out 100% for a couple of DAYS. But within an HOUR or so you’ll notice See and Ticketmaster showing zero availability. They’ll come back on sale on and off for a further 36-48 hours due to failed credit card, double bookings, etc, so you always see moments of ticket availability for a few days at least.
Hi Matty – just be aware that those are the pre-sale tickets from September. They haven’t yet updated their page for the full release. Although rumours are those will be the correct prices, it’s just worth knowing that Ticketmaster haven’t yet updated their site.
The ticket price is £182.00, i jsut checked on ticketmaster.

How long do the tickets normally last for, like until they run out and there’s none left?
Like, if i’m on ticketmaster at 6:45, am i virtually guarenteed a ticket to buy?
