Who else would take a headline slot at Leeds 2010?
Following the potential line up leak on Monday a couple of alternative suggestions have been put into circulation.
On Monday we posted the question: has the Leeds Festival line-up been leaked by eFestivals?
Quite a number of you have responded, some in favour of the suggested Leeds line up and others not. At the same time as the eFestivals “leak”, other media outlets in the UK have now put forward their suggestions.
The website Virtual Festivals has suggested that Guns N Roses will be the third headliner, a rumour that was supported by Metro newspaper later in the week.
The Daily Star has continued with the Green Day rumour from earlier this year.
Almost everyone seems to be confident that Blink 182 will make an appearance after the confirmation from Travis at the start of February.
There is some doubt over the other headliner, with everyone pinning their flag to either Arcade Fire or My Chemical Romance, as first rumoured by eFestivals.

I cant help but notice that the line up (even if only rumoured) is diabolical.
it seems as tho leeds forgot they needed to book bands this year and have been left with the ones V fest forgot about.

I’ve heard that Snow Patrol will be headlining along with Blink 182. I’ve heard that system of a down will definetly won’t be there along with bullet , niall so your right with Snow Patrol but like you said the others may of put pen to paper won’t. Its a surprise to see Snow Patrol headlining as they havent been rumoured much and aren’t anywhere either.

Right seriously to make it better than last years ‘Indie’ weekend this year needs to be about REAL rock and roll. Best lineup ever would be if Green Day, Lostprophets, Linkin Park, Blink 182 and MCR made their comeback. Seriously no Kings Of Leon or shit like that or I might just fall asleep!
The line-up is announced at 18.45 and the tickets come out at 19.00… it’s been the same for years…
Best way to find out first is listening to Zane Lowe – Radio 1 on the night…
Headliners: Guns N Roses (Friday) , Blink 182 (Saturday) & The Libertines (Sunday)…
Arcade Fire to support the Libertines, possibly MCR to support GNR and Green Day to support Blink…
Not too happy about it but thats my prediction…
NME tent Headliners: Sonic Boom (possibly supported by MGMT) and The Cribs… couldn’t call the third one, given up reading NME as it is too commercialised and brown noses the likes of the courteeners and other generic idiots…

This years Leeds will be absolutely terrible, I have a gut feeling about this.
Just had a phone call with Ted Parker, he’s a big insider and helps approach the bands for leeds. Firstly lets just say like last year with crooked vultures there will be a guest appearence again. Firstly here are a list of definates: Paramore-You me at six- Mayday Parade-lostprophits-offspring-30 seconds to mars- biffy clyro-mumford and sons- razorlight and more. For big courteeners fans like myself leeds are in talks with them and this will be there third tour in the uk this summer. For headliners there is two as good as definate, yet one bands still in talks. Firstly after deciding against arc fire the organisers are now in talks with the killers but talks have slown down beacuse of money. Secondly Blink 182 have accepted and are definates. Finally they are close to a suprising confirmation over a headline performance from last year v festival success snow patrol. Massive suprise but would be absolutely electric.

Well e-fesival has rumours of Guns n Roses and Libertines. Leeds/Reading really need to pull something like this out the bag cause the line-up looked like it was going to be the worst I could remember.

I personally wouldn’t mind Blink 182 being there, I’ve heard they’re quality live but the three headliners being Blink, Green Day and MCR would be a bad move, Leeds had always catered for different tastes on different nights, 3 bands from 3 similar genres of rock would neglect people with other tastes.
