Confirmation of Blink 182 rumour?
Speculation over a hotly rumoured appearance at Leeds 2010 by Blink 182 was fuelled when Travis Barker made a comment to MTV.
Although it has been rumoured within our Leeds 2010 Rumours on our site since 2009, Travis Barker’s comment yesterday to MTV seems to be the surest sign yet that Blink 182 may be appearing at the Reading and Leeds Festivals.
Travis was quoted as saying: “We go to Europe in August for all the festivals.”
Speculation has now intensified that this hint indicates the band will be playing at Leeds Festival this August Bank Holiday weekend (festival dates are August 27th-29th 2010).

I was massively pissed that Blink weren’t at Leeds last year though if they play this year I think it will make up for if. For the oasis people; we all know they won’t get back together on the principla thy Liam and Noel HATE EACH OTHER :/
Apparently their new album should be released in 2010 sometime so they may even play some new stuff
Went to see blink on their US tour in West Palm Beach, Florida last September and anyone who says blink can’t play live can go swivel. Seen them 5 times and been my favourite band for a good 10 years, missed them at Leeds last time so gooo onnnn it would be intense. Perfect summer band for the best summer festival!!

I used to be huge fan of Blink back in the day, but I’m just pre warning everyone who hasn’t seen them before – Tom Delonge cannot perform live. If you hated his whiney voice on record, you most certainly won’t like it live…

well i got told by a very good mate (his mum has something to do with the festival) that Blink 182 are confirmed to headline reading and leeds this year and also Lostprophets are confirmed to play aswell

If I buy tickets and Blink aren’t there I’ll not be pleased. I went all the way to Florida to see them last year, fucking amazing! I think the date say they will do Leeds, and also i wouldn’t be surprised if they didn’t play pukklepop in belgium as the surprise band

I have waited so long to see blink, I remember I had a chance to see them on their last UK tour in manchester and I passed which was a big mistake. I think it’s obvious that blink will be playing leeds, and I will NOT miss them this time rest assured.

It would seem very unlikely that Blink will not play this year as they have said they are doing festival appearances in Europe and have already confirmed for several other festivals. Being such a big name they will certainly headline one of the three nights, I don’t really see how anyone would think otherwise, but I don’t think they will be the main headlining band

I really don’t! As people have mentioned they are highly overrated – They are most likely to headline the festival but if they were I’d put them as support to the headline – there are so many better bands out there!
I want Oasis to reform and play the Friday, Soundgarden on the Saturday and SOAD on the Sunday! Now that would be special!

i think they will WITHOUT A DOUBT play leeds this year. i mean come people think about it, they have just announced festival dates for the 22nd of august (in germany) and the 4th of september (in italy). Therefore they are not going to fly back to america in that short amount of time so therefore the most logical thing is that they will play leeds and reading in between those two dates…
to say i am fucking excited is an understatement
