The Last Shadow Puppets to play exclusive Leeds show
The history of the Reading and Leeds Festival is full of amazing moments and exclusive performances but today’s announcement from organisers Festival Republic will take some beating.
THE LAST SHADOW PUPPETS, debut Number One album artists and one of the most talked about acts of the year will make their live debut at the world famous twin sites over the August Bank Holiday weekend. The project of Arctic Monkeys’ Alex Turner and The Rascals’ Miles Kane have yet to confirm any further live shows and these full set performances will be the first chance for the many fans of their album ‘The Age Of Understatement’ to hear the tracks live.
The band will take to the NME / Radio One Stage as co-headliners prior to the previously announced set from The Cribs. This has to be a real ‘get there early’ moment and, after last year’s packed tents for the likes of The Enemy and The Pigeon Detectives expect a similar situation on Friday 22nd August at Leeds Festival and Sunday 24th August at Reading Festival.
Reading and Leeds Festival is totally sold out across both sites.
