As I type (9.30pm) there are still weekend tickets for Leeds available through Way Ahead / See Tickets.
The way the system works, if it reports that tickets are sold out, keep trying and refreshing the page. People are releasing the tickets they have hold of all the time, and therefore ticket shops rotate between showing as ‘Sold Out’ / ‘Available’.

thats true i was on a website that said it was sold out then just at that moment they put up the tickets.

Yeah. See Tickets just put a load more on for sale in the past 30 minutes. Seem to have gone again now though. They’re always assessing ticket availability.
In addition, HMV Leeds had over 150 weekend tickets left about an hour ago.
Re: bands - by ‘how many more’, do you mean actual number of bands that will play, or are you after actual band names?

DOES ANYBODY KNOW IF THE RUMOUR OF R.A.T.M. PLAYING ON THE SUNDAY IS NOT JUST A CHINESE WHISPER????

Not sure. I was having this conversation last night. Usually the *big names* are revealed on the launch night, and I’d have considered RATM to be a big band. However, it was pointed out that they played down the bill last time they appeared, and therefore it could be a possibility that they will be revealed later.
Personally, I don’t know.

Kate - you’re right. See Tickets have a load more tickets on sale now. It’s usually like this for a while.
Anyone without a ticket click here and good luck!

They’ve still to announce the remainder of the Main Stage, plus the majority of the NME / Radio One Stage. Then we’ve the whole announcements to come for the Carling Stage. On top of that there’s the Dance Tent and the Lock Up Stage, and the Unsigned Stage. So add, say, another 100 bands at least…

Hmmm despite trying hopelessly for ages to get tickets on Monday I didn’t manage it
do you know are they likely to release any more tickets on the official sites later on, or should I start bidding on ebay? :S It’s so annoying, all my friends managed to get tickets without any problems!! And if I wasn’t away at uni, I could have just gone down to HMV and got some! So frustrating.
:(
thanks for all your help by the way… :)x

27 March 2007 | 19:20
any more rumours as to line up ?
27 March 2007 | 20:12
any more rumours?
i heard there were still main bands to be announced?
28 March 2007 | 13:12
the tickets that are on sale now are priced exactly the same as the weekend with camping tickets. Does that mean you can camp or not??
28 March 2007 | 15:17
“FRI-SUN WEEKEND TICKET NOT VALID FOR ENTRY BEFORE 8AM FRIDAY 24th Early Entry permits are not valid with these tickets.”
To be fair, I don’t understand what this condition is trying to say. I would say this means you CAN camp, but you CANNOT arrive until Friday morning. Sounds weird though to me, because camping usually includes Thursday night.
Personally - I don’t know. If anyone has bought one and has some better T&C knowledge, or haas called up to ask, please do post and help others out.
