Does anyone know if there will be a limit to how many tickets any one person can buy, what was the limit last year? A bunch of us are going together and getting tickets together to save money on booking/postage. But if we exceed the max. number that you can buy at once, then we may have to split into two groups to buy them.. trying to figure out the easiest way to do this… Hmm.

Will the tickest be sold out straight away? i heard that the major HMV stores will have tickets on sale tomorrow morning. Is this true?

Emmy - Crash Records in Leeds are restricting to 2 per person. I would expect the ticket lines and online sites to restrict also, possibly to 4. To be entirely truthful, I don’t know myself and cannot remember what restrictions were in place last year.

Yeah I’m also wondering if tickets will sell out. On the one hand, they’ve been pretty secretive about the line up and release dates… on the other hand, I heard that T-in-the-park sold out in like the first 40mins! (altho that could just be a rumour…) Gah! I didn’t get tickets last year, but managed to get some off ebay anyway, so I wouldn’t worry too much. And there’s always some more tickets released later on as well.

Anonymous - I reckon Leeds festival *weekend* tickets may sell out by sometime on Tuesday morning. However, in every single year to date an extra batch of tickets have been released later in the summer. I wouldn’t be surprised if Mean Fiddler did the same again for 2007.
Day Tickets are usually still available all the way into August, and sometimes you can still buy Day Tickets on the door. That’s been the case for a few years now.

My message crossed with yours Emmy - I agree with what you’re saying.

Lol totally
hey davelms, do you like, own this site? lol. Thanks for your reply earlier by the way. We’re a group of 6, so whether we buy tickets in groups of 2 or 3, i think it will work out
My friend on MSN said apparently tickets went before their eyes in a few minutes last year. Pressed refresh, and they were gone
but hopefully they are exaggerating… *gets all nervous* there were a lot more rumours last year as well. So perhaps less people will be queuing for them this year.

What I would recommend is that you and your friends bookmark all of the ticket sites, and keep refreshing them all. Have several windows open. And have a couple of friends trying the telephone lines too.
Once you get through, you’re usually given a few minutes to ‘confirm’ your purchase during which time the tickets are ‘assigned’ to you. You lose them if you don’t complete the purchase within the set period of time.
So, whilst they appear to have gone very quickly, all it means is they’ve been assigned out to people. Given people are all working in teams, and may have bookmarked several sites, a fair number are released back into the system within 5 minutes. So KEEP TRYING. They’ll appear sold out several times before they actually do go…
Last year, the official ‘all sold’ notification from Mean Fiddler was issued after about a week.
